JAN. 4 UPDATE: The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 20-year-old Marquinn Hilliard. Hilliard's death was due to multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and it was ruled a homicide.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says one man is dead following a shooting at a large house party on the east side of Las Vegas late Saturday.
LVMPD Homicide Lt. Ray Spencer said nearly a dozen people called police around 9:45 p.m. reporting shots fired on Dunsbach Way near Lake Mead and Hollywood Boulevards.
Officers arrived to find one man laying in the driveway of a home suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say the man died on the scene.
Spencer said most of the party-goers ran away before officers arrived, and police are now calling on anyone who may have seen the gunman to call the LVMPD Homicide unit.
