NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Two men have been arrested for recent murders in North Las Vegas.
34-year-old Aaron Lee Thomas has been arrested for a deadly shooting that happened on Jan. 1 during a New Year's Eve party in the 3400 block of North Bruce Street. 31-year-old Lazareo Jone was shot multiple times.

Thomas is facing charges of open murder with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm within or from structure or vehicle, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of stolen firearm.
35-year-old Markelle Tavon Carter was arrested for a deadly shooting on Dec. 18. That shooting happened in the area of Revere Street and Brooks Avenue. He is facing a charge of open murder with a deadly weapon.
