Henderson police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two males involved in a robbery after rear-ending a woman’s vehicle.

Henderson Police are asking for assistance in identifying two men involved in a robbery near Solera Sky Drive and Tranquil Moon Street. At around 6 p.m. on Nov. 22, a woman pulled over after being rear-ended by the two male suspects. One of the suspects approached her vehicle, brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s jewelry and purse.

Police believe the suspects may have followed the woman from local businesses as she left from shopping.

The woman did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.

Crime and safety expert Randy Sutton says these types of scams are common, especially among younger suspects.  Sutton says the scams are especially scary because you become a victim twice.  His advice is if you feel uncomfortable, call police after you are in a fender bender and tell the other driver you are on the phone with police.

The first suspect is described as a white male adult, thin build, with light brown shaggy hair last seen wearing a light colored hoodie and tan baseball cap. The second suspect is described as a black male adult, thin build, last seen wearing a white tee shirt with black short sleeves and a dark colored baseball cap.

Their vehicle is described as a 2000-2003 silver Mercury Sable.
