The driver of the hit-and-run that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries on Thursday, Dec. 11, has been identified.
23-year-old Debra Bournes was arrested for applicable hit-and-run charges. The case still remains under investigation by Metro Police.

Police are searching for a driver who reportedly hit a pedestrian then fled the scene late Thursday night.
It happened around 11:17 p.m. in the area of East Katie Avenue west of South Maryland Parkway, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
A white 2009 Ford Fusion was heading west on Katie while a pedestrian was crossing Katie outside of a marked or implied crosswalk, according to authorities.
The crash happened when the front right of the Ford hit the pedestrian, and the driver failed to stop, police said.
The Ford was later located, but authorities say the driver is still outstanding.
The pedestrian was taken to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Tattoo artist arrested for sexual assault and kidnapping
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Souriyadeth Markthepharack, a tattoo artist, on Aug. 27 after investigating a sexual assault incident involving two teenage girls. Channel 13 obtained an arrest report from LVMPD to learn more. According to an interview with the victims, they knew Markthepharack as the father of a male one of the girls said she was involved with. They said they were told to contact Markthepharack whenever they wanted free tattoos.
Las Vegas police officer arrested on charges of theft, burglary and perjury
A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center Wednesday on multiple charges. According to LVMPD, Antonio Chavez, 28, is charged with theft ($25K - $100K), four counts of burglary of a business and perjury.
