LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says they have arrested a man they say is responsible for hitting, running over and killing a pedestrian on May 5.

The hit-and-run took place near Lake Mead and Nellis boulevards, witnesses tried to save the woman however she was pronounced dead at the scene.
