A man from Kingman, Arizona, has been arrested for 2 felony counts of child molestation.
Mohave County Sheriff's Department detectives were contacted by Huntington Beach Police Department regarding a delayed report of child molestation that happened in 2017 at a home in the 1800 block of Hearne Avenue.
The victim, who was 10 years old at the time, said that her older stepbrother, 19-year-old Michael Trey Hefner, forced her to engage in sexual acts on multiple occasions.
During an interview, Hefner admitted engaging in sexual contact with the victim. During the course of the investigation, more allegations into other incidents were revealed and the investigation is ongoing.
