LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Earlier this afternoon, Channel 13 received several calls from viewers inquiring about an incident near Boulder Station Hotel and Casino along Lamb Boulevard.
We reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) to get them answers.
According to LVMPD, a man driving a car that matched the description of a suspect in a domestic dispute earlier was seen near Sandhill Road and La Brea Court.
Metro said that as they went to conduct a traffic stop, the car took off at a high rate of speed. Officers then pursued that car until it collided in the 4100 block of Boulder Highway.
The suspect was later taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
No officers were injured. One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being involved in the collision.

Tattoo artist arrested for sexual assault and kidnapping
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Souriyadeth Markthepharack, a tattoo artist, on Aug. 27 after investigating a sexual assault incident involving two teenage girls. Channel 13 obtained an arrest report from LVMPD to learn more. According to an interview with the victims, they knew Markthepharack as the father of a male one of the girls said she was involved with. They said they were told to contact Markthepharack whenever they wanted free tattoos.
Las Vegas police officer arrested on charges of theft, burglary and perjury
A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center Wednesday on multiple charges. According to LVMPD, Antonio Chavez, 28, is charged with theft ($25K - $100K), four counts of burglary of a business and perjury.
