The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas officially rolled out its paid parking system Tuesday.

Parking is free for the first hour and the goes up to $7 for 1 to 4 hours, $10 for 4 to 24 hours and $10 per day for 24 hours plus. Motorcycles and two-wheeled vehicles are exempt from parking fees.

In addition, Identity membership and rewards members Sterling status or higher can receive free parking while Gold status or higher can receive free valet parking.

Valet parking is $13 for 0 to 4 hours, $18 for 4 to 24 hours and $18 per day for 24 hours plus.

During events and peak periods on the Las Vegas Strip, such as concerts or holidays, special pricing may apply to ensure The Cosmopolitan’s guests have sufficient access to parking.

At this time, there are no discounts for local residents, AAA members or the military.

The Cosmopolitan had announced late last year that it was charging for parking but hadn't confirmed a date for it starting. It joins many other properties on the Las Vegas Strip that now charge for parking although some are still free for locals.
