UPDATE: Treasure Island releases additional details about reopening

UPDATE JUNE 3: Treasure Island Las Vegas has announced reopening specifics about property venues and their hours of operation, as it plans to reopen on June 4, 2020 at 9 a.m. following its temporary closure amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The hotel will open on June 4 with new fully renovated rooms and suites.

Gaming, hotel amenities and restaurants open as of June 4, 2020: The Casino (opening at 10 a.m. on June 4) will be open 24 hours; Pool and Cabanas, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Pool Bar, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; The Coffee Shop, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Pizzeria Francesco’s, 12 p.m. to 6 a.m.; Breeze Bar, 24 hours; Starbucks (inside), 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Starbucks (Strip-facing), 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; TI Gift Shop, 24 hours; Lobby Store, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Free Self Parking Garage, 24 hours; Senor Frogs, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday & Saturday 12 p.m. to 12 a.m., Monday & Tuesday closed; and Marvel Avenger’s S.T.A.T.I.O.N., Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Wedding Chapel at TI will be open.

TI’s Race & Sports Book, opening June 5, will operate between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.; and 24 hours through self-service kiosks. Also starting on June 5, Gilley’s Saloon (bar only) will be open 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., 7 days a week. Starting on June 6, Golden Circle Sports Bar will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week.

Phil’s Italian Steakhouse, Richie’s SUB Shop, Seafood Shack, and Mystere by Cirque du Soleil remain temporarily closed. Tickets for canceled Mystere performances will be automatically refunded. The Corner Market Buffet closed on March 17 as part of a scheduled remodel of the space in order to keep up with the changing needs and preferences of guests. Treasure Island will be announcing plans for a new venue later in 2020.

Policies outlined for guests include the advisement of social distancing, usage of personal protective equipment, hand washing and hand sanitizing as well as on-property safety reminders.

In order to ensure employees remain safe, TI has put forth policies and procedures that include: security temperature screenings; hand washing and hand sanitizing; requirements to stay at home if sick; social distancing; expanded training about COVID-19 and prevention; employee signage; use of personal protective equipment; and strict cleaning protocols. Treasure Island has offered free, on-site COVID-19 antibody testing for current employees in partnership with HealthCare Partners – Intermountain Healthcare.

Treasure Island Las Vegas has announced that it will officially reopen on June 4 at 10 a.m. following its temporary closure by order of the Nevada Governor's office amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Venues, services and amenities that will be open include its casino, pool area, on-property restaurants, gift shops, car rental service and free self-parking garage.
