The Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores in southern Nevada will reopen on May 29.

In accordance with health department guidelines, shoppers will be asked to stay 6 feet apart to maintain social distancing and wear a cloth face covering. In addition, fitting rooms will be closed, and each store will limit the number of shoppers at any given time. Staff will be on hand at each storefront to manage safe entry.

The reopening of the stores is an important step toward financial security for the no-fee, residential Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARCs) that are funded by the sale of donated items in The Salvation Army’s Family Thrift Stores. The drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers have been without necessary funding for more than eight weeks.

The three stores that are slated to reopen and operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week are listed below:

· The Salvation Army Craig Family Thrift Store at 675 Craig Road, North Las Vegas; (702) 342-9297

· The Salvation Army Durango Family Thrift Store at 4196 S Durango Drive, Las Vegas; (702) 227-3795

· The Salvation Army Henderson Family Thrift Store at 360 N Stephanie Street, Henderson; (702) 436-3100
