An employee of the Nye County Detention Center has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Nye County Sheriff's Office.
The detention center was notified on Saturday and all Nye County jails were placed on lockdown.

All staff members and inmates will be tested. Families of staff members are also being encouraged to be tested.
