CARSON CITY (KTNV) — Caleb Cage, the head of Nevada’s task force on the coronavirus, has tested positive for COVID-19.
It was revealed on Oct. 6 that someone in the governor’s office had tested positive. Caleb developed symptoms the previous weekend, according to the state.
It was confirmed on Oct. 12 that it was Cage.
The governor’s office said last week that Gov. Sisolak had not had contact with the positive staff member since mid-September.
The governor’s office followed procedure after it learned that Cage was not feeling well, including transitioning all staff who had worked in the governor’s Carson City office to work-from-home status last Monday.
