LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Goodwill of Southern Nevada has announced an employee has a presumptive positive test for COVID-19.

The company's president released a statement on Thursday confirming the test and that the employee works at the retail store located at 741 S. Rainbow Blvd., near Alta Drive, but that the person was exposed outside of the store's location.

"The employee has been quarantined and, out of an abundance of caution, the other employees from that location are in a voluntary quarantine as testing is conducted to confirm or refute the diagnosis of a positive case," said President and CEO Rick Neal.

Operations at that store have stopped, according to the company, with sanitizing of the facility through the Centers for Disease Control guidelines.

"At Goodwill of Southern Nevada, the health and safety of our employees remain our top priority," Neal said.
