Chance for rain as cold front heads for Southern Nevada

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Big weather changes are in store beginning Sunday evening and through Monday.

A cold front is expected to bring strong winds, cold temperatures and slight rain chances.

Snow is expected in higher elevations.

A wind advisory has also been issued by the National Weather Service beginning Sunday at 9 p.m. and will last until Monday at 9 p.m.

30-35 mph winds are expected, with gusts up to 50 mph.

Highs will reach near 80 on Sunday.
