LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — This is the daily roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

2:40 P.M.

The North Las Vegas Fire Department has responded to a structure fire on Bed Knoll Court, near Simmons Street and Lone Mountain Road. Firefighters reported ammunition going off upon arrival to the home. Firefighters were able to contain the fire. No injuries were reported.

1:55 P.M.

A 17-year-old motorcycle rider has been taken to UMC Trauma in critical condition after a crash involving an SUV occurred at the intersection of Hualapai Way and Russell Road. Police said the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Hualapai Way when the collision occurred with a Toyota Highligher that was turning left from southbound Hualapai Way. The Toyota driver remained on scene and impairment was determined to not be a contributing factor.

4:38 A.M.

A vehicle backed into the Krung Thai Restaurant near Decatur Boulevard and Flamingo Road. Police said the driver fled.

1:10 A.M.

A man was taken into custody after allegedly robbing a Rebel gas station at 41111 Paradise Road. Police say the man had a bandana over his face and had a gun. The man was captured by police near Flamingo and Paradise roads. No one was injured during the incident.
