Arbor View HS teachers meet parents after completing cultural training

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Anti-Defamation League wrapped up a two-day program at Arbor View High School addressing racism and all forms of bigotry.

This program comes after recent social media posts targeted African-American students with violence.

Teachers have been going through intensive training, and Thursday parents were invited to the school for a briefing on what teachers have learned.

Some were pleased with the results, but a few parents also said the school has a long way to go.

Arbor View's principal said the next step is to involve students in the changes at the school.
