The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Friends for Las Vegas Police K-9 wrapped up the 25th annual K-9 trials this weekend.
The event was held at the Orleans Arena and featured more than 40 police K-9 teams from around the U.S.
The tasks tested the dogs agility, obedience and suspect apprehension skills. On Saturday, the teams competed in the narcotics and explosives detection competition.
