LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Update - Thursday, September 3, 2026 :
Police have arrested and charged 76-year-old Orville Grimes for open murder with a deadly weapon.
46-year-old Henry Bias was later identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as the victim. His cause of death was listed as a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police are investigating a homicide Tuesday afternoon in east Las Vegas after a man was found shot to death.
According to Lt. Robert Price with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, dispatch received a call for service before 2 p.m. for an unhoused person lying unresponsive in a parking lot in the 1200 block of South Eastern Avenue near Charleston Boulevard.
Price said when officers arrived, they located the man in his 40s dead and determined he had been shot.

Channel 13 obtained an arrest report from LVMPD to learn more. According to an interview with the victims, they knew Markthepharack as the father of a male one of the girls said she was involved with. They said they were told to contact Markthepharack whenever they wanted free tattoos.
Las Vegas police officer arrested on charges of theft, burglary and perjury
A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center Wednesday on multiple charges. According to LVMPD, Antonio Chavez, 28, is charged with theft ($25K - $100K), four counts of burglary of a business and perjury.
