We expect another weekend with increased clouds and the threat of some rain showers around Las Vegas. Don't cancel Saturday plans: most of the rain is not expected until after dark. With that said, thundershowers will be possible Saturday evening and Saturday night as moisture increases from Arizona.
Rain is also possible through the day on Sunday, although the best chance of a downpour in the valley will develop Sunday afternoon. Isolated showers should be confined to the mountains on Monday as this storm system begins to depart.
Rain totals over the weekend will range from 0.10" to 0.25" in the valley but may exceed 0.50" in the mountains. All of Southern Nevada can expected a return to completely dry conditions starting Tuesday and lasting through the rest of the week.
