Nonprofit Canine Companions for Independence has launched another live puppy cam to spread a little joy during these uncertain times.

Tune in to watch a litter of four-week-old future assistance dogs as they play, eat, sleep and grow.

Over the next few weeks, a live cam will capture and learn what the first stage of life is like for a future assistance dog.

To become an expertly trained assistance dog with Canine Companions, it takes nearly two years of hard work and love, starting at the very beginning as adorable puppies.

Canine Companions assistance dogs are trained in over 40 commands and are matched with children, adults and veterans with disabilities free of charge. Many of these assistant dogs have allowed their handlers to remain independent at home as they shelter in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
