LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Temperatures will remain unseasonably warm for the weekend, running about 10 degrees above normal and a few degrees shy of daily records. Mostly sunny skies will greet us for Sunday with temperatures reaching the upper 70s to low 80s. Temperatures will reach the upper 50s to low 60s around the Spring Mountains and flirt with the 90s for areas like Laughlin. Winds stay light in Las Vegas but pick up to 25 mph for spots like the Colorado River Valley. High pressure begins to break down Monday allowing for a cooling trend to take hold- we'll watch for more clouds and moderate winds returning mid-week with temperatures dropping into the low 70s and upper 60s through next weekend.
