Man found dead in Las Vegas park

A man was found dead in a Las Vegas park on Saturday morning.

Around 9:20 a.m., Las Vegas police officers responded to Doolittle Park located in the 900 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard to assist Las Vegas City Marshalls on a report of a possible deceased male.
 
Arriving medical personnel had located an adult male with apparent injuries who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated that the victim was possibly involved in a physical altercation earlier in the morning. There are no suspects in custody and the motive remains unknown.
 
This is the 94th homicide investigated by the LVMPD in 2015. The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
