A person San Diego law enforcement officers are responding to reports of an active shooter situation near the Islamic Center of San Diego.
San Diego Police Department officials said they started receiving reports of the incident at around 11:40 a.m. outside of the mosque.
People, including children, have been seen being evacuated from the building.
There is no immediate word on possible injuries.
