LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Polling numbers for President Joe Biden continue on a downward spiral more than a week after his widely criticized debate performance against former President Donald Trump.
On June 26, the day before the debate, 38.1% of polled voted approved of Biden's job performance. That number has dropped to 36.9%. A majority of voters, 57.1% disapprove of Biden's overall performance.
Currently, Trump is ahead in two major national polls. He leads Biden 42% to 37% in a Forbes/HarrisX poll that also included Robert Kennedy Jr., who is polling at 16%, Jill Stien who is at 3% and Cornel West who stand at 2%.
Biden's approval rating dropped three points in just a week since the debate, according to polling site 538.
Trump also leads in Nevada and other key swing states, according to new polls from Remington Research.
