LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will be closing the right travel lane along northbound Interstate 15 at Sahara Avenue (State Route 589) from 8 p.m., March 11, until 5 a.m., March 12, in Las Vegas.
The temporary lane closure is needed for fiber repairs related to the overhead freeway messaging signs. Narwhal Met LLC is the contractor.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible.
NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
