North and southbound U.S. Highway 95 will close at Interstate 15 from 10 p.m. June 6 until 5 a.m. June 7, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.

The closure will take place so that Project Neon crews can pour a bridge deck as part of "The Main Event."

NDOT says that I-15 and the Spaghetti Bowl ramps will remain open, which should minimize the number of slowdowns on the road.

The Department also suggests that northbound traffic use Boulder Highway, Charleston Boulevard, and Eastern Avenue to get around the closures. Alternate routes for southbound traffic include Valley View Boulevard, Rancho Drive, and Decatur Boulevard.

Project Neon is a $1 billion infrastructure program that aims to widen I-15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue. NDOT says that the project is nearly 70 percent complete.
