More lane restrictions are ahead as Project Neon continues.

There will be lane restrictions along east and westbound Charleston Boulevard between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Shadow Lane from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. Feb. 8 through March 17 in downtown Las Vegas.

The closures are required for placing new water and sewer lines as part of Project Neon.

In addition, the Nevada Department of Transportation will close the inside lane 24/7 in both directions along Interstate 15 between the Spaghetti Bowl interchange and Owens Avenue in downtown Las Vegas through 5 a.m. April 7. There will be additional intermittent nightly northbound lane closures during the same time frame, too.

The closures are required for placing foundation footings and concrete support columns for Active Traffic Management signs that are being erected as part of Project Neon – a nearly $1 billion 3.7-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.
