Symphony Park Avenue will close between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Interstate 15 from 7 p.m. on May 24 until 6 a.m. May 25, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
NDOT says that the closure is needed for bridge construction. They also suggest using Bonanza Road and Alta Drive/Bonneville Avenue as detours.
The closure comes as part of "The Main Event," which is the third and final phase of Project Neon. The construction project is about 65 percent complete and aims to widen Interstate 15 between the U.S. Highway 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.
NDOT anticipates the project will be finished next summer.
