To celebrate the opening of Martin Luther King Boulevard near Charleston Boulevard, the Nevada Department of Transportation is hosting a "Fun Walk" on August 26.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and attendees will be able to walk over the new MLK Boulevard before it opens to the public.
Parking is located near Shadow Lane and Hastings Avenue, between Bearden Drive and Charleston Boulevard.
