LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in the central valley Wednesday night.
It happened around 8:19 p.m. on Washington Avenue west of Rancho Drive, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Someone driving a stolen 2019 Honda 450 CRF Enduro motorcycle was heading west on Washington, police said.
At the same time, a 2006 Lexus GS300 was heading east on Washington and entered the center turn lane.
Police said the crash happened when the Lexus made a left turn into a driveway, crossing in front of the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken to UMC Trauma, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
No one in the Lexus reported any injuries. The driver remained at the scene and didn't show any signs of impairment.
The driver of the Lexus remained at the collision scene and did not show any signs of impairment.
The motorcycle rider’s death marked the 12th traffic-related fatality in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction for the year 2026.
This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section.
