The Las Vegas Valley Water District says to expect lane restrictions near Vegas and Rancho drives as crews work to repair a water pipeline Friday evening.
Drivers heading westbound or eastbound are advised to use Washington Avenue or Lake Mead Boulevard instead of Vegas Drive.
Rancho Drive will be closed for those heading westbound on Vegas Drive. Cars will be detoured to north and southbound Rancho Drive. Eastbound traffic approaching Rancho Drive will remain reduced to one lane due to existing construction.
The Water District says that the restrictions are expected to remain in place throughout the evening.
