While Fremont Street is always closed through the Fremont Street Experience, the area just east of it will be closed Wednesday night.
The street will be closed from Las Vegas Boulevard to Sixth Street for a Park on Fremont event.
The closure will last between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday.
