LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The RTC has shared information regarding a traffic incident in Las Vegas with us.
According to the RTC, a crash has closed all lanes on westbound Charleston Boulevard at Mojave Road.

What we know so far from an earlier communication with LVMPD is that the incident involved a 10-year-old who was struck in the street by a pickup truck. The child was taken to a nearby hospital, where police said he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the truck was not suspected of impairment at this time, but was taken into custody.
Officials said that the area would "be closed to foot and vehicle traffic" during their investigation.
Avoid the area, and use alternate routes.
