Vegas hosts Montreal with 1-0 series lead, next game Wednesday night

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights will host the Montreal Canadiens in game 2 of the semifinals for the Stanley Cup Playoffs at 6 p.m. June 16 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Vegas opened the series with a win on Monday night against the Canadiens, 4-1. She Theodore, Alec Martinez, Mattias Janmark and Nick Holden scored to the Knights. It was their 5th consecutive win in the playoffs.

This is the 3rd round in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The winner will advance to play in the finals against the New York Islanders or Tampa Bay Lightning. The Knights are currently
the favorite to win the Stanley Cup.
