LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Vegas Golden Knight bettors barely had to sweat out their wagers Sunday, but will tonight be the same?

Just two days after a convincing 6-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes, the Golden Knights head to Denver for their second preseason game of the campaign, this time against the Avalanche (6:00 p.m. live on KTNV).

Bettors don’t seem to like VGK’s chances. After opening up as a slight underdog at -110, they are now available at most Vegas sportsbooks at +115 (meaning that you could risk $100 to win $115 if the Golden Knights claim victory). Conversely, the Avalanche have been bet down to -135 as of press time.

As with all preseason games, checking lineups is vital ahead of making any wagers. The Athletic’s Jesse Granger reports that backup goalies Garret Sparks and Dylan Ferguson are active for the contest. Additionally, Jonathan Marchessault, Mark Stone, Jaycob Megna and Sunday’s hat trick hero Max Pacioretty are all missing from the projected roster for tonight’s contest – which is likely the reason for the line move towards the Avalanche.

The over/under for the game has shifted slightly, opening at 6 with the over favored at -120. Currently, the over remains favored, but now at just -115.
