Fans, broadcasters getting hyped before tonight's Vegas Golden Knights game

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The first game of the regular season for the Vegas Golden Knights is Oct. 2.

13 Action News spoke with Stormy Buonantony, member of broadcast team. Stormy will be reporting rinkside for the team.

Other new members of the broadcast team for this season include industry veteran Daren Millard, former NHL goaltender Mike McKenna, and analyst Darren Eliot. They are joining announcer Dave Goucher, TV color commentator Shane Hnidy, VGK Insider Gary Lawless, radio play-by-play announcer Dan D'Uva, Deportes Vegas radio play-by-play announcer Jesus Lopez, and Deportes Vegas radio analyst Herbert Castro.

The game tonight against the San Jose Sharks starts at 7:30 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena. Before that, there will be plenty of festivities at Toshiba Plaza, starting at 2:30 p.m. The game will be shown on NBCSN.
