LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Marc-Andre Fleury will make his first start since the death of his father Tuesday vs. the Chicago Blackhawks at T-Mobile Arena.
The Golden Knights' starting goaltender last played on Nov. 23 before leaving the team on personal leave. He rejoined the team on Dec. 5 but did not play against the New York Islanders nor the New York Rangers, which both resulted in losses for VGK.
Head coach Gerard Gallant confirmed Fleury's status following the team's morning skate.
Vegas is on a two-game losing streak entering tonight's clash.
The team currently holds the second wild-card berth in the Western Conference by one point ahead of the Vancouver Canucks.
