Henderson Event Center celebrates construction milestone

HENDERSON (KTNV) — The first puck drop took place Wednesday afternoon at the future home of the Henderson Silver Knights to celebrate a construction milestone.

Reid Duke, the first player to sign with the Golden Knights, and Gage Quinney, the first Las Vegas born player to play in the NHL, helped star in the event.

The Silver Knights are expected to take the ice at the Henderson Event Center in 2022.
