The Vegas Golden Knights will once again get a long rest before its next playoff series starts. With the Western Conference Finals schedule released Tuesday, VGK fans can start planning.
Game 1 of the series against either Winnipeg or Nashville is this Saturday at 4 PM, with game 2 set for Monday May 14. Vegas will be on the road for both games.
The first home game is May 16 at T-Mobile Arena, with game 4 two days later.
Tickets for the Golden Knights home games will go on sale this Thursday at noon. You can go to this link to buy them: Golden Knights Tickets.
With the Knights winning their last series against San Jose this past Sunday, it's 6 days off for Vegas before playing again. Between this rest, and the time off after sweeping the Kings in the first round, VGK has had more days off in the Stanley Cup Playoffs than any other team remaining.
"To have a couple days here is really nice," says Colin Miller. "You just get to come back (home), get a little Vitamin D and then hang out. It's nice."
"I think it's been good for our group to be able to heal up and be ready to play," adds Nate Schmidt. "Those bumps and bruises, those things will go away in the days leading up to the next series."
Game 7 between Nashville and Winnipeg is Thursday night, meaning the winner of that series will only get two days off before starting the Western Conference Finals with Vegas.
