With the Vegas Golden Knights looking to stay perfect in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, fans are hoping prices for tickets to game 2 against the San Jose Sharks will drop.

24 hours before the puck dropped StubHub, the Golden Knights official ticket marketplace, said the average price of tickets sold for Saturday's matchup sits at $284.

More than 2,000 tickets remained on the market as of that point with the lowest price sitting in the $170 range.

"The Vegas Golden Knights have been the most in-demand tickets in the NHL all season," Jessica Erskine with StubHub said.

StubHub statistics show 52 percent of the tickets sold through the service went to Nevadans, with just 16 percent going to Californians.
