Zappos is having two free Boat Building classes for the Zappos Cardboard Regatta at their campus at 400 Stewart Avenue, 89101.

It's happening on March 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Mar. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You can build your boat there on both dates, store it, and they will transport it to Lorenzi Park on April 7.

They will have free supplies (while they last); cardboard, duct tape and glue. You can also go to Pirate Fest and work on your boat at Lorenzi Park on April 7-9.

This is the 3rd annual Cardboard Regatta. What is a Cardboard Regatta? You build a ship (or other floaty thing) out of cardboard using your imagination, duct tape, glue and some paint, then GET IN IT, and race it across the lake at Lorenzi Park, Sunday, April 10, at 12 p.m. during Pirate Fest.

The Regatta is an excellent Team Building or just a family fun activity. There will be live entertainment food, vendors, strolling characters, and more.
