Where to go on National Hangover Day and National Blood Mary Day in Las Vegas | 2019

Jan. 1 is known as National Hangover Day and National Bloody Mary Day. Here are some places around the valley to celebrate or recover, depending on how you look at it.

The city’s most popular hangover brunch will help guests recover from 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 1 at DW Bistro. Roll out of bed and head to DW in your pajamas for award-winning Jerk Chicken and Waffles, Red Chile Omelets, and their signature Bloody Marys.

The Silverton is offering a Hangover Brunch Buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 1. The brunch buffet will feature bottomless Bellinis featuring peel & eat shrimp, oysters on the half shell, assorted sushi, ahi tuna poke, fried stuffed crabs, Cajun broiled oysters, hot smoked BBQ salmon, cola glazed pork loin, carved beef tenderloin, lobster mac n cheese, lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote, corned beef hash skillet, banana bread French toast, chocolate & donut bread pudding, smoked salmon flatbreads, biscuits & gravy, omelets cooked to order, lobster & crab cake benedict, Cajun shrimp & grits, assorted desserts & breakfast pastries and hand-scooped ice cream. Sot is $22.99 with a rewards card of $24.99 without.

Flour & Barley is offering a Hangover Pizza made with chili, cheddar cheese, French fries, bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs and jalapeños for $19 from Dec. 24 through Jan. 1.

La Strega's Bloody Mary is topped with a delicious deviled egg. Cost is $13 each.

Distill and Remedy’s locations will offering a full menu including Avocado Eggrolls filled with fresh avocado, sun dried tomatoes, red onions, cream cheese and a blend of herbs and spices; or the Pot Roast Eggrolls stuffed with slow-cooked pot roast tossed in homemade demi-glace, caramelized onions and mashed potatoes, fried golden to a crisp and served with horseradish cream. For a bigger cure for the hangover, opt for “The Cure,” popular among locals and critics alike and sure to fix any post celebratory ailments. Featuring a handcrafted burger made from ground beef and ground pork, this tasty burger is stuffed with fontina cheese and topped with soy-marinated onions, jalapeno jelly, lettuce, tomato, spicy mayo and fried parsnips served on a brioche bun. Wash it all down with any of their specialty cocktails for $10 or keep the bubbly flowing with a traditional mimosa.

Miller's Ale House will be featuring $2.50 Bloody Marys on New Year's Day. Add a skewer with shrimp, andouille sausage, pepperoni and an olive for $1 more.

The Hangover Burger at Binion’s Cafe in downtown Las Vegas features a beef patty topped with bacon, a fried egg and cheese. Lettuce, pickles and onion on the side. It is served with hash browns or fries.

Hamptons LV will be offering a brunch with bottomless Bloody Marys for an additional $20 on National Bloody Mary Day.

The vegan restaurant VegeNation serves up a Loaded Bloody Mary topped with French fries, jalapenos and a buffalo cauliflower wing. $11 each.

The Crack Shack claims that it offers Las Vegas’ best hangover sandwich. The sandwich is made with with a fried egg, choice of honey butter dipped fried breast or thigh, and red eye coffee aioli served atop a giant freshly baked biscuit; and the Senor Croque made with crispy chicken, bacon, fried egg, cheddar and miso-maple butter on a brioche bun. The Crack Shack also offers a robust coffee program featuring a selection of café quality coffee beverages, available all day.

Cafe Americano’s Hangover Cure is made with two burger patties, grilled heirloom tomatoes, crispy applewood smoked bacon, two eggs any style. Topped with cheddar cheese, this concoction is served open-faced on griddled charcoal brioche ($29). Café Americano’s Make-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar is your solution to nursing that New Year’s Eve hangover! Sip, stack and pour with a plethora of mix in and add-on options including bacon, pulled-pork olives, char-grilled jalapeños and more. ($14+).

Metro Diner is offering $2.99 Bloody Marys and Mimosas on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Mimosa flavors include traditional, pineapple, grapefruit, cranberry and sunrise, a delicious mix of orange juice and grenadine. Offering all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner at approachable prices, guests can pair Mimosas and Bloody Marys with favorites like Fried Chicken & Waffle, Cinnamon Roll Pancake, Charleston Shrimp & Grits, the Holy Davoli Burger, and Chicken Pot Pie, a dish featured on the Cooking Channel’s Cheap Eats. The diners will also offer select bottles of bubbly for $9.99 all-day on New Year’s Eve.

Topgolf offers 3 different Bloody Marys. The house bloody is made with SKYY Vodka, Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix, Filthy Pickle stuffed olives, lime, lemon and kosher salt on the rim. Tito's Top Bloody is made with Tito's Handmade Vodka, Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix, bacon, lime, Filthy Pickle stuffed olives, celery, lemon, pepperoncini and kosher salt rim. The Spicy Bloody is made with ABSOLUT Peppar Vodka or Tanteo Jalapeno Tequila, Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix, Filthy Pickle stuffed olive, lime lemon and kosher salt rim.

The popular bar Moon Doggies will be have a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, sponsored by Tito's vodka, on Jan. 1. Fixings usually include bacon, salami, hot peppers, celery, olives and more. There will also be giveaways throughout the day, free play or match play for new signups, customer appreciation incentives, party favors and decorations. And if you don't like Bloody Marys ($8 each), there will also be mimosas ($7 each) along with a full bar. Starts at 8 a.m. Naked City Pizza will also be open for food.

Red Lobster is offering The Lobster Claw Bloody Mary featuring a chilled Maine lobster claw, jumbo shrimp and a cheesy, buttery biscuit.

OYO Hotel & Casino will offer a late-night breakfast buffet to head off any hangovers from 12:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Jan. 1 at their Steak 'n Shakes. The buffet, available for $9.99 per person, will include chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, hickory smoked bacon, rancher’s eggs served scrambled with cheddar cheese and scallions, a customizable biscuit bar with whipped butter and a selection of house-made jams, fresh fruit and more. Guests can sip on $2 mimosas and $3 bloody Marys and Micheladas.

Sixth + Mill Ristorante offers the Malafemmena made with muddled cherry tomatoes, Bombay Sapphire and chartreuse, garnished with a fresh tomato slice and basil leaf.

The Hangover Recovery Bloody Mary at Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar is made with your choice of vodka and choice of 2 garnishes (candied bacon, chicken apple sausage, pickled veggies, spicy shrimp and more). Or, you can choose the “buffet” option and get all the garnishes.

HEXX Kitchen + Bar offers the Colossal Bloody Mary. It is served in a pitcher with basil-infused vodka, jumbo shrimp, an Alaskan king crab leg, bacon, a beef stick, peppers and pickled vegetables.

The Hangover Burger at Hubert Keller’s Burger Bar at Mandalay Place is made with Angus beef, chopped lettuce, tomato, onion and their special creamy hangover sauce. Served with fat fries. $16.25.

Enjoy bottomless Spicy Bacon Bloody Marys on New Years Day and Sunday Brunches at the bar or overlooking the lake at Marche Bacchusin Desert Shores. Marche Bacchus French Bistro & Wine Shop is known for its traditional and contemporary French dishes including a variety of meat and seafood dishes, seasonal dishes, vegetarian/vegan and children’s menus. The ambience includes breathtaking waterfront views and wine cork art as well as 40 wine glasses by the glass and 950 wine labels for guests to choose from in their adjoining wine shop.

Pub 365’s Hangover Burger ($14) is made with Black Angus beef, bacon, mayo, fried egg and caramelized onion.

Select PT's Tavern locations will offer a burger and Bloody Mary offering from 8 a.m. until midnight on Jan. 1, 2020. "The Cure" burger is made with a half-pound burger patty topped with a fried egg and hangover sauce. The Bloody Marys will be made with SKYY Vodka and garnished with olives and a lime slice. Cost is $10.

Bar Code Burger Bar’s Hangover Burger is made with American cheese, easy egg, crispy onions. Tomato, applewood smoked bacon and code sauce. Served on a brioche bun. $13.95.
