The city of Las Vegas will be welcoming back kids to Vegas Strong Summer Academies on June 8.

The academies will replace traditional summer camp in order to provide a safe and structured environment for kids. Each will provide age/grade appropriate academic and recreational programming.

Vegas Strong Summer Academies will be Monday through Friday, June 8 to August 7, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for ages 6-13 at the following locations:

- Doolittle Community Center, 1950 N. J St.

- East Las Vegas Community Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave.

- Mirabelli Community Center, 6200 Hargrove Ave.

- Stupak Community Center, 251 W. Boston Ave.

- Veterans Memorial Community Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive

The academy for ages 3-5 will be offered at Mirabelli only. The cost for all academies is $75 per child, per week.

Space is limited due to social distancing and other safety guidelines provided by the Governor’s Office.
