Tyler Robinson Foundation and Vitalant will host a “Go Gold Blood Drive” in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The blood drive will be held at Rainbow Library, located at 3150 N. Buffalo Drive, on Sept. 28 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

More than 15,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer every year and many rely on blood transfusions to get through their battle.

Supporters can schedule their appointments to give blood and enter sponsor code GOGOLD or call Vitalant 877-258-4825 for assistance. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Donations to TRF, a nonprofit dedicated to offering financial support for families battling childhood cancer, are encouraged.
