Throughout the month of September, Three Square Food Bank will host a community-wide food drive as part of its Fill The Plate campaign to end food insecurity in Las Vegas.

Representatives from Boyd Gaming kicked off the campaign on Monday with Fill The Plate's first donation.

Individuals and organizations can bring non-perishable food items to Three Square's south warehouse from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Donors will drop off the food on a large plate graphic, snap a photo for social media using the hashtag #FillThePlate, and help spread the word throughout Hunger Action Month.

The goal of the campaign is simple: fill the 30 feet x 30 feet plate before the end of the campaign on Sept. 30, where KOMP 92.3 will broadcast live from Three Square from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A virtual food drive will also be open to collect monetary donations at www.threesquare.org/filltheplate. For donation arrangements outside the allotted time, contact Bessy Le-Oh at 702-715-2833.
