LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Virgin Hyperloop had its first run with two passengers in the desert just outside of Las Vegas.

The goal is to reach 600 miles per hour, but because the track isn't fully built yet, they only reached 100 miles per hour during Sunday's test.

The Virgin Hyperloop uses magnets and vacuum tubes to move pods that will have people inside of them.

The hyperloop is still raising money for a six-mile test facility.
