On New Year's Eve, many Nevadans skipped the Strip and gathered in Henderson for the second annual Cadence Double Dash.
Participants ran the final 5K of 2016 at 10:30 p.m. then stopped to watch the fireworks on the Strip. After midnight, runners hopped back on the trail for the first 5K of 2017.
