LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Viva Vision canopy in downtown Las Vegas has a new show to enjoy.

The official worldwide premiere of the new light and sound show featuring the Grammy Award-winning duo The Chainsmokers took place this weekend.

During the event, fans gathered around 3rd Street Stage to witness six-minute musical montage on the world's largest single video screen featuring the EDM duo’s chart-topping hits, including “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Something Just Like This.”

Renovations to the city-owned Viva Vision canopy, which will be completed for the unveiling on Dec. 31, 2019, are being done in sections to ensure visitors can enjoy the light shows throughout the entire process.

The Chainsmokers’ light and sound show is the first compilation to debut since the start of a $32 million renovation to the iconic Viva Vision canopy.

Visitors can enjoy the musical montage seven days a week along with existing shows from artists such as Green Day, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Tiesto and more.
