The Animal Foundation announces a new Home for the Holidays dog and cat adoption promotion.
Every shelter animal deserves a home during this time of year, and with many people staying home this holiday season, now could be the perfect time to welcome a new pet into your family.
From Dec. 11 to Dec. 31, adoption fees will be waived for adult dogs weighing 30 pounds or more and all adult cats. The promotion applies to animals six months and older.
A $10 license fee may apply. Adoptions are by appointment only and must be scheduled to meet a specific animal.
Here’s how to add a new furry friend to your family:
- Find a pet you’re interested in adopting by clicking here
- Call 702-955-5901 to make an appointment
- Phone lines are open every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please note, Adoptions will close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day.
- A staff member will greet you outside the front door at your appointment time
- We require all visitors to wear a mask per the Governor’s mandate
