The Animal Foundation announced Wednesday that it will be waiving adoption fees for all animals from Black Friday through Cyber Monday during the Zappos.com Home for the Pawlidayz adoption special.

Zappos.com will be generously reimbursing the shelter for those fees through its No More Homeless Pets Network partnership with Best Friends Animal Society for all pets adopted from Nov. 25 to Nov. 28.

The Animal Foundation currently has more than 128 dogs and 15 cats available for adoption. Adoption fees normally range from $25 to $250 for shelter dogs. Cat adoption fees range from $25 to $50.

The Animal Foundation anticipates a high volume of adopters throughout the Black Friday weekend. Patrons coming to the shelter to adopt should anticipate longer lines and wait times, and are encouraged to bring water. Additionally, no animal meet and greets will be allowed, so patrons should leave all pets at home.

All adopted dogs and cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and more. An additional $10 city license fee may apply.

Adopters must complete an adoption counseling process. Adoptions can and will be denied in the even the placement is not in the best interest of the pet.

Reduced fees for Home for the Pawlidayz are valid Nov. 25 to Nov. 28 at The Animal Foundation’s Campus Adoption Center.
